Learn with Ragamuffin

Caitlin of Ragamuffin Pet Photography has created a wonderful course that allowed me to learn about my camera, pet photography, and I even learned something about myself along the way. Her enthusiasm for this genre is nothing but contagious. I started with basic knowledge and after six weeks I have developed confidence in my photography that I had not anticipated. Caitlin is extremely knowledgeable about pet photography and a natural at teaching. Each module was detailed and easy to understand. The exercises are well outlined and helped to improve my skills. If you are even the slightest bit interested in pet photography I highly recommend you take this course. You will not regret your decision.

I just completed the 'How to Photograph Your Pet' 6-week photography course and I absolutely loved it. I am so happy and grateful to be part of such a positive and amazing community! Caitlin has created wonderfully informative and enjoyable tutorials and assignments that have been engaging and extremely fun! It is evident that Caitlin has put her heart and soul into developing this course. It was easy to navigate through the tasks and the curriculum was well organised and covered a great range of topics. I loved having the opportunity to share our assignments and progress with the Ragamuffin Camera Club community and to receive feedback during the monthly Q&A and photo critique videos on Facebook. I have absolutely enjoyed every part of this course! I have gone from having no clue how to use my camera, to feeling confident in using it manual mode. Not only has this course helped me take better pictures of my furry family but also my son as well which I am so grateful for. The best part is you can go at your own pace, so when life gets in the way there's no pressure to get it done because there's no set deadlines. Caitlin's has provided wonderful videos and demonstrations of each technique and always with a big beautiful smile, you can see she really loves sharing her passion and knowledge of pet photography with others. The FB group is a fabulous place to share and see what others are doing as well, a lovely community to be a part of. I eagerly await the challenges, not only for taking my own new photos but to see how others creatively interpret them as well. The 6-week pet photography course was an adventure in learning how to photograph my pet better. Caitlin created just the right balance of being able to explain the technical side of photography in a digestible fun way. The course assignments help to tie everything together and the Ragamuffin photography club members create a positive environment to share our little projects. I definitely had no regrets signing up!
